Brandy Napier

Founder

Brandy Napier is the founder of Shameka’s Angels. Mrs. Napier is the current Insurance Branch Manager of several locations for a large Insurance Company located in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Napier is a huge advocate of life insurance and she uses her vast knowledge of over 13 years in the insurance industry to stress the importance of being insured. In 2003, Mrs. Napier and her family endured the tragic loss of their beloved sister, daughter, and mother Shameka Jones to complications related to HIV/AIDS.  In dealing with her loss, Mrs. Napier has put together her resources to provide outlets for those affected by this disease. Mrs. Napier lives by the words, “I will fight for my sister’s battle”, and continues to whole- heartedly witness to others by telling her family’s story and strives to bring the awareness of HIV/AIDS to others and assist those currently battling. Mrs.Napier and her husband are also the proud parents of three young men Trevon , Zyshonne & Franklin Napier III. Mrs. Napier’s home has also been an outlet for many kids in her community. Brandy was one year younger than her sister Shameka and they had a very close relationship. Shameka’s Angel was founded after Brandy lost her older sister to complications from the virus. Brandy has pledged to share her experience from her loss to make a difference in the world.  

Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is currently a Manager of Corporate Partnership Sales and Marketing for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, a professional football team in the National Football League. The Dallas Cowboys are considered the “Most Valuable Sports Franchise” in the world by Forbes. He has been with the Cowboys for several years since 2008. 

He began his professional career as an entry level sales representative with the Texas Rangers, a Major League Baseball team in Arlington, Texas. Charles continued his career working in mid-level management roles for several sports teams; New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Sixers. In these positions he was charged with managing over $100 million dollars in ticket sales revenue and awarded Highest Ticket Sales” in the NBA by his sales team. 

 Charles attended Texas Tech University, played collegiate football and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Masters of Science in Business Administration in December of 2004. Charles is Shameka’s youngest brother.

Varatip Johnson

Varatip Johnson is currently a senior compliance professional at TPG Global, LLC, a leading global private investment firm with $74.3 billion of capital under management. She has been at TPG since February of 2009. Varatip began her professional career

as an intern with KPMG, LLP, one of the largest professional services companies in the world and one the Big Four accounting firms.

She continued her career with KPMG after college and remained at the firm for 5 years where she held the role of Senior Audit Associate until December of 2008. Varatip attended Texas Tech University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in December of 2003.

Monique Johnson

Monique Brothers is a human resource professional currently responsible for the strategic direction of the health, welfare, and retirement benefits for Cornerstone Healthcare Group, a nation-wide Long Term Acute Care Hospital (“LTACHs”) organization. As the HR Benefits Manager, she oversees the planning, design, implementation and administration of all employee benefit programs to assure the organization’s competitive positioning in the marketplace. Monique attended Texas State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in December of 2005. She is also a Spring 2003 initiate of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and a proud mommy of twins. Monique Brother is also the youngest sibling to Shameka.

Shanequa Johnson-Jones

Shanequa Johnson-Jones is a current employer for the Department of Family Services.  Her main focus is the safety of children and providing community services for families within Tarrant County. Shanequa attended the University of North Texas and received a Bachelors in Arts for Psychology. Shanequa will be attending Southern Methodist University in January 2016 in efforts to receive a Master's Degree in Counseling. Shanequa has volunteered at different organizations that benefit children. She has always been advocate for community service for families and giving back. Shanequa is also the only child that Shameka Jones was blessed with. Shanequa spends some of her creative time doing positive speaking in regards to the HIV/AIDs virus. Shanequa will be able to counsel from a personal experience as well as educate her community with the awareness and outlets that Shameka’s Angels will provide.

Domonick Jones has a tremendous passion for God’s word coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Pastor Jones, obediently fulfills his calling as the proud Pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church of San Antonio, TX. Pastor Jones a “seed” planted by God is a native of San Antonio, Texas. His vision is uncompromisingly clear, with one central principle; to build and develop a kingdom of empowered people for God. Holding firmly to the commissioned mandate in Matthew 28:18-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations”. Pastor Jones has served, since 2005, as the Pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Having responded to the call to ministry at the age of 24, Pastor Jones has preached his message, the only way to receive salvation is through Christ and Christ alone. He is the husband of Sister Joycelyn P. Jones and the father of six beautiful children- Dakari, Dejah, Domonick Jr., Dian, Dyjanay, and Khalib. Pastor Jones is Shameka’s oldest sibling/brother.Pastor Jones is gifted by the Holy Spirit in the area of teaching. His desire is to equip and empower the people of God to exercise their God given ministries (Ephesians 4:11-16). He also desires to move people towards Christian maturity through worship, ministry and edification. There is nothing that makes his heart so proud than to see people transcend the limitations of the flesh and be all that God calls them to be through their service to Him.
